Why is this the best time to start a vineyard?

The reality of climate change is that our winters are

becoming milder and the grapes are loving it. Combine this with the ongoing development of winter hardy vines and it's very positive for our industry.

The public has been supportive too. Think globally, act locally trickles down to every aspect of our lives, including wine. There's growing interest in vineyard tours and our members are gearing up to address that need.
